Fatmee Rasheed, a Pakistani Painter who lives in UAE. Like most of great artists in the history, she doesn’t study Arts, but she had a master’s in physical chemistry from university of Karachi.
Fatmee Rasheed says: basically, I was a Science student and I firmly believe that there is no contradiction between science and Arts but while working with different colorful chemicals I fall in love with colorful mixing, and I navigate deeply to transfer colors labs to my canvases.
Fatmee has wide variety of paintings like still life, Natural sceneries, live painting, abstract art, pencil sketching and she uses different mediums like Charcoals, Oil Pastels, Soft Pastels, Pencil colors and Oil colors.
Some of my work based on real photos of normal people doing something, sitting casually or playing with kids and Sometimes I took photographs by myself and draw or paint simultaneously. Fatmee Rasheed said
Copying other's work is also interesting, I copied the work of some famous painters like Leonid Afremov, The persistent of memory by Salvador Dali, The Sunday in the park by Henry Victoria Leisure and natural scenery by Kevin Hill.
Fatmee Rasheed is very sensitive artist, she paints what good or bad happening around her, what she feels, she paints over her canvases.
She is dreaming to travel all over the world to get more deep feelings and to learn from the humen experience, to show the world from her own angle.
