The 32nd conference of the General Arab Insurers
Federation (GAIF) will be held in Tunisia's Hammamet on June 24 through 26 under the theme of "Digital Transformation
and The Insurance Industry in The Arab World."
The event is coorganized by the GAIF and the Tunisian federation of insurance companies (FTUSA), this biennial meeting will be held amidst the world development that witnessed using Digital Technology and its challenges on Insurance Industry which represent an opportunity for all participants to discuss and review the transition and implementation to digital technology, studying the current and future risks imposed and how to confront it to take the advantage of it and reduce their negative effects in order to achieve development of the Arab Insurance Industry and Arab markets integration.
The conference program will deal with topics inspired from the conference theme through interactive sessions between Arab and foreign participants to the benefit of the Arab Insurance Industry.
Rapid technological changes witnessed in the world by digital discoveries and artificial intelligence or what is expressed by "the Fourth Industrial Revolution" will change the relationship of the human environment and will inevitably lead to a comprehensive change in the needs and ways to respond to them by economic and financial actors.
The insurance sector will not be isolated from these transformations, which will enshrine the concept of the digital global village and there will be no land, country, sector or company deprived from these changes.
The conference will be an occasion to examine the mechanisms of voluntary engagement in this digital revolution to ensure the sustainability of the insurance industry in Arab countries.
