The Egyptian Ministry of Manpower was informed that Saudi Arabia and the UAE decided to ban laborers from working under scorching heat from 12 pm to 3 pm until September 15.
Mohamed Saafan received reports in this respect from the labor representation
offices at the Egyptian embassies in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The decision was meant
to protect workers' health and secure a safe working environment.
The decision was taken as temperature is expected to reach 48 Celsius.
Any institution that
would violate these decisions would be fined 5,000 dirhams for each worker.
