The Egyptian Ministry of Finance auctioned on Thursday 91- and 266-day treasury bills and 10-year T-Tnotes at LE 17 billion.
The 91-day T-bills stood at LE 7.750 billion at an average yields of 18.841%.
The 266-day T-bills valued LE 8 billion at an average yields of 18.755%.
The 10-year T-notes stood at LE 1.250 billion at an average yields of 16.378%.
The CBE issues treasury bills and bonds on behalf of the Ministry of Finance to make up for the budget deficit which is expected to reach LE 370 billion.
Also, Arab grants and aids alongside international loans contribute to covering this deficit.
