Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, launched on Monday the UAE scientific labs platform to enable researchers and scientists to reach top-notch scientific labs and exchange knowledge and expertise.
The platform - the first of its kind in the UAE – is meant to
offer a pioneering international example of investing human resources in
addition to providing a scientific climate and research infrastructure to help
coming up with innovative solutions to the challenges facing humanity, he said.
He called on scientists to proceed with their researches to realize more achievements.
said "Our mission is to make people happy and help them realize more progress
and advanced science is our method to achieve this."
said "I am confident that our youths and scientists will be a milestone in
the march of human knowledge and advanced science that will serve our citizens
and all people in the UAE."
platform is a complex of six major research institutions in the country and is
meant to secure an advanced research climate and distinguished infrastructure
to develop the scientific sector, he expounded.
The platform is one of the initiatives of the Emirates Scientists Council aiming to secure the proper climate for researchers and scientists.
The initiatives fall within the framework of the 2031 advanced sciences agenda which was launched by the Dubai Ruler in April 2018.
