The Egyptian Ministry of Finance auctioned on Monday 5- and 10-year treasury notes at LE 2.750 billion.
The 5-year T-notes stood at LE 1.5 billion with an average yield of 15.953%.
The 10-year T-notes valued LE 1.250 billion with an average yield of 15.221%.
The Ministry of Finance issues treasury bills and bonds to make up for the budget deficit which is expected to reach LE 370 billion.
Also, Arab grants and aids alongside international loans contribute to covering this deficit.
