Oman and Pakistan signed on Monday a cooperation deal in the field of oil and natural gas.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Omar Al-Marhoon signed the agreement on behalf
of the Omani government with Secretary General of the Pakistani Ministry of
Energy Mohammed Jalal Sakandar Sultan.
Sheikh Al-Marhoon underscored the importance of the deal as it will open the Pakistani market for Omani oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) products.
Oman International Trading Company, Pakistan State Oil Company and LPG Company will market these products in the two countries.
