The 2nd International Conference on Water Museums will kick off in Netherlands on Monday.
The five-day conference aims at consolidating future activities of the Global Network of Water Museums (WAMU-NET).
It will include presentation and discussion of common strategic projects, the mechanisms for internal coordination, and the establishment of three internal working groups (Research, Education, SDGs).
The presentation of new water museums which have shown interest to participate and become partners of the Network is foreseen.
The 2nd Conference of WAMU-NET is supported by the International Hydrological Program of UNESCO and organized by Civiltà dell’Acqua International Centre (Venice), Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy), Kring Vrienden van ‘s-Hertogenbosch, and the Netherlands National IHPHWRP Committee.
