South African President Cyril Ramaphosa forwarded a letter in this respect to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Paul Mashatile, the Treasurer General of the African National Congress and the Envoy of the South African president, handed over the letter to Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, during a meeting on Thursday.
The two sides discussed ways of furthering the distinguished bilateral relations in various domains.
Expo 2020 Dubai will open on October 20, 2020 and closes six months later, on April 10, 2021. Through its theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, Expo will be a celebration of ingenuity that provides a platform to encourage creativity, innovation and collaboration, underpinned by its three pillars: Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.
The expo is expected to attract 25 million visitors.
