Egypt and Kazkhstan will launch two new airlines in May and June to boost tourism between the two sides.
The first airline will be launched in May to link the Kazakh capital Astana and Egypt's Red Sea Resort City of Hurghada, the Red Sea governorate said in a statement on Saturday.
The second airline will be launched in June to link Hurghada and Shymkent – the third largest city in Kazakhstan after Almaty and Astana.
The Red Sea governor and the Kazakh minister of culture and tourism reached an agreement on launching the two airlines during a meeting on the fringe of the 18th Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Tourism and Travel" (KITF 2018) which wrapped up late Friday.
