A delegation from 20 UAE and Omani companies operating in the fields pharmaceutical, medical equipment and veterinary will visit Egypt on Wednesday, the Egyptian Export Council of Medical Industries (ECMI) said.
ECMI Chairman Maged George said the delegation will hold talks with representatives from 35 Egyptian companies to stand on investment opportunities in Egypt.
He said the council seeks to prop up small and medium sized firms to open new markets and boost their exports.
He said the conferees will underline the importance of rallying efforts to boost trade exchange among Arab states, highlighting the depth of the Egyptian ties with the UAE and Oman.
Egyptian medical industries exports to the UAE and Oman posted about 33 million dollars in 2017.
