South Korea will participate in the eighth edition of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) - which is due to be held in Dubai on April 9 through 11- o lure investments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
During the get-together, Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and he Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will showcase investment opportunities, according to AIM website.
Korea has been an investment destination for many global businesses. Much like the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Korea serves as the business hub of the northeast Asian region. Many businesses from the GCC, especially the UAE, are looking to partner up with Korean companies to catapult their business onto the global market.
About 10 companies and local government representatives from Korea will participate in the event to hold business meetings with various investors and stand on investment opportunities to be presented during AIM.
AIM will be held under the theme of "Linking Developed and Emerging Markets through FDI: Partnerships for Inclusive Growth & Sustainable Development"
