During a meeting on Friday with Egyptian
Minister of Telecommunications and IT Yasser El-Qadi, Read said he is proud
that more than 5600 Egyptians work at the company to offer technical support services in 12 languages for European countries, like Britain, Germany, Ireland and
El-Qadi said Egypt is keen
on engaging with partners in the sector as it gears for launching 5G services.
El-Qadi hailed the achievements
realized by the company over the past period, especially its investments in the
outsourcing domain which secures jobs for the youths.
He said Egypt became attractive to international outsourcing companies.
He said Egypt's IT exports hit $ 3.26
billion in 2017.
He said upgrading telecommunication
services offered to citizens is one of the sector's top priorities, commending
the role of the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority in this respect.
