Consultations are underway for establishing an Arab-Indian chamber of commerce.
An Arab delegation, comprising Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers Khaled Hanafy, his assistant Shahim Shahin and Arab League Assistant Secretary General Kamal Hassan, had talks in New Delhi with Indian businessmen on establishing the chamber.
The talks also tackled means of boosting trade and investments between the two sides.
The talks also took up ways of drawing on India's technology.
Union of Arab Chambers Secretary General Khaled Hanafy said India managed to realize a great leap with its growth rate posting 7% for several consecutive years.
