On the final day of the three-day visit of the crown prince, Saudi Arabia signed with British Company BAE Systems a memorandum of intent for purchasing 48 typhoon fighter jets.
This marks a step forward towards clinching a final deal.
The deal is meant to upgrade the Saudi Armed Forces.
Saudi Arabia bought 72 typhoon jets over the past 10 years.
As Saudi Arabia is moving ahead with its Vision 2030 to diversify its economic resources, Britain and Saudi Arabia also agreed during the crown prince's visit to a target of 65 billion pounds in mutual trade and investment in coming years.
